Dear Parents/Guardians:
Welcome to the 2026-27 school year. As we start the new school year together on Monday, August 17, 2026, the staff of Rata High School and Adult Transition Program look forward to collaborating with you and your child. Our entire staff strongly believes that the education of children is a partnership between the home and school and that parental involvement is crucial to the success of our students.
Back to School Night
Please mark your calendar for Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:30 to 6:00p.m. for Back to School Night. More information will come with specific details regarding this event.
Class Lists
Class lists will be posted on Thursday, August 6, 2026, as you enter the Rata campus. These lists will indicate your child’s teacher and room number.
Daily Schedule
Rata High School and ATP: 8:54 a.m. to 3:38 p.m.
Breakfast and Lunch
Breakfast is served at 9:00 a.m. and lunch at 12:05 p.m. Breakfast and lunch are free district wide, and you can find the daily menus on the district website.
Bus Schedules
Bus routes will be posted on the district’s transportation website https://www.fresnounified.org/departments/transportation/bus-routes. We will send out a message letting you know once those are posted.
The Rata staff is committed to providing an education that will prepare your child to reach their greatest potential and we look forward to seeing you in August 😊.
